I know the feeling Steve, last night we paid $2.92 a gallon using our discount at TA in Roanoake, Va and friday paid $3.17 a gallon in Barstow, Ca....made money off the FSC last week...I too say thank you TA and Schnider for the discount.

Top right hand corner of this page gives the national average ( gas and diesel) and I should be pretty close to the MPG by common sense...the rest is pretty simple..its called a calculator. If you disagree with my numbers please let us hear your version.

I guess some will never understand...FSC is in place to ease the cost of high fuel, not pay for it all, sure it would be nice for companys to pay for it all and in some cases it does, BUT most of the time it dosent...at the rate of 14-16 cpm in a cargo van that should make you price of fuel...

That is kinda cheap...look into other options if you have a choice...OOIDA offers plans with nice coverage at flexiable rates..I have a 2 million dollar policy and it runs about 140 a month...one of my drivers chose to have Panther deduct it from him and it it $38.50 a week for a $50,000...

I am just wondering how some of the fleet owners and other owners assure the cost of hiring a new driver and the cost involved in doing so....when you send one to orentation, do they pay all the cost of getting there, hotel room, getting home ect...based on some of the figures I have been given...

I dont think that is the case..maybe so for FECC but not with all expedite carriers, PII for example does not require you to go to Canada, not to sure about the others...that being said, some might say that it will decrease you load chances and possible revenue, but, I for one, do not run...

well first of all, it was your responsibility, not tri-states to remove and return, thus it would have saved you from this, secondly, qc's cannot be swapped like that . Qc's are leased not bought, therefore there is no charge for the repair to the unit. Something is not adding up here, sounds...
