Any other colors besides white acceptable for expe

RE: Any other colors besides white acceptable for I'm having a conversation about van types in the newbie section and thought I might present this question for recruiters. Which one of these 3 vans are preferable or satisfactory. I decided to start small for now and then move to straight...

Any other colors besides white acceptable for expe

Is a light silver ok for a expediter truck? I just wonder why straight trucks and cube vans are mostly white. I'm looking at a used Penske truck that is yellow and would like to paint it silver rather than white.

GMC 3500 with 16' Box or a Sprinter, which is bett

RE: GMC 3500 with 16' Box or a Sprinter, which is GMC is sounding better here. Tare weight of 6750 pounds so I take it this means I can load 3250 pounds including myself and possesions with me. Even though they are marked 2600 pounds max payload inside the box, as long as I don't go over the...

GMC 3500 with 16' Box or a Sprinter, which is bett

RE: GMC 3500 with 16' Box or a Sprinter, which is Thanks for the info, I started looking at big but have been steered towards the smaller vehicles. Since the companies I talked to like the under 10k category I think I will start here first. Plus parking is easier for these. I've wondered...

GMC 3500 with 16' Box or a Sprinter, which is bett

I know the 16' box van would be preferred due to size, but which is better for the O/O? The GMC 3500 with the 16' box can only carry 2600 pounds anyway so is that extra room usually wasted anyway? The Sprinter gets about 7 MPG more than the GMC. So I'm thinking it can usually take the same...

    just my opinion

I can answer number 4, depending on who you go with you should be able to train her once she has her temporary permit, then when she's ready she needs to pass the skills test through a state approved tester. 1 should be a yes also, which leaves you with 2, 3, 5 for someone else to fill in.

When a Panther Recruiter says $140,000 a year what

RE: When a Panther Recruiter says $140,000 a year ABC, I'm 20 miles out of Detroit and Panther told me 5-7 day out, then said 2-3 weeks out. So best case scenario is 5-7 days. This other company told me 4 days out per week the rest daily. I know what you mean, 67-70% might be good if they...

When a Panther Recruiter says $140,000 a year what

RE: When a Panther Recruiter says $140,000 a year Any opinions on going percent instead of CPM? I have an opportunity to get 67% of the actaul delivery pay in a 24' straight truck. Much better hometime than Panther.

When a Panther Recruiter says $140,000 a year what

RE: When a Panther Recruiter says $140,000 a year >Mileater, > That would be 40% of the gross. > >ABC 40% of the gross sounds terrible for being an owner operator with all the responsibilities and risk. So on average they said a gross of $95,000 x 40% and you have a annual earnings of...

When a Panther Recruiter says $140,000 a year what

RE: When a Panther Recruiter says $140,000 a year Thanks for the info. Abcwine= did you mean 40% under the gross or 40% of the gross? That 50% sounds better. I have taken some mechanic courses so I'm sure I can stretch the repair costs a bit, and I am totally against insurance whenever...

When a Panther Recruiter says $140,000 a year what

I spoke to 2 different Panther recruiters and got 2 different answers. My question is, when they tell me that I can make up to $140,000 per year in a straight truck what does this actually mean, what amount can I expect to end up in my pocket? One recruiter told me 30% less than $140,000, the...
