MOOT it was before the restricted hours and TRUCKS are aloud to run the HOV lanes during unrestricted hours but you must exit 1 exit before the scales if heading south.

Found out the other day that the state of VA. updated there GVW law regarding what is and is not a TRUCK. If you have over a GVW of 7500 pounds and your vehicle is used for property carrying (which we do) you ARE to cross the scales and abide by ALL TRUCK laws (no not the over 10k DOT rules)...

No different then using a software program like TruckLogger. As long as you can print them out on the spot and they have all the required fields then there should be no problems.

The reason I brought up the PA. 26k thing was that I guess they used to let you operate a 33k truck and plate it at 26k and have no cdl. Now you have to have a cdl to operate said truck even tho it is plated lower.

That load pays 420 miles!! Make sure they pay you correctly for it. Wonderful train load I used to run it quite often about 3 years ago. And if you took it from that carrier in ERIE they pay 419-420 loaded miles. I would also ask when you drop if they have anything going out, ask the carrier...
