    Just what is the Criteria....

Yep, my thoughts exactly on the money issuse. Just lay your money down and your company gets a 5 Star rating...just like that it seems............ Be better if EO just called them "PAID SPONSORS". Listing them as "5 STAR CARRIERS" is misleading. Especially to those of us not 100%...

    Just what is the Criteria....

For becoming a "5 Star Carrier" here on EO? I have contatced ALL the listed carriers and I am wondering how some that are only months old can be listed with Carriers decades old. A few I could not locate the yard for a visit. Many don't even reply to a phone message. Some don't even have...

Ok, I thought you meant a "B" unit ( Cargo van ). But seriously....$450 in a ST....I was offered $650 here in Michigan as a solo. (an avg after looking at the books ), and this was a GREAT owner, he had everything covered, right down to Hotel cards and a cell phone......he was going to pay...

NO, OTR carriers do not use the term "E" unit....at least none I am familiar with, ... Never heard the term except from my brother and EO users and expedite companies listed here. Such as the Expediter my brother hauls for classifies him as an "E" unit ( T/T )....from my understanding. And I...

Tiki, The question you should ask yourself is, would you stay out for a week in a cramped Cargo Van to gross $450 or so per week...and that is before health insurance, Life Ins? As for me, that would be a NO. I had thought it would be great to travel around in a CV after years of pulling...

    Anybody Familiar with DAYSTAR

Hi Do you have Solo company drivers? What type of trucks do you have? What is the avg rate per mile for all miles driven for your single O/O's at the 75% rate? You also pay for base plates and qualcomm...or was it GPS only, maybe I read that wrong. Thx...

    T&K Nationwide

Suggestions regarding a cargo van !!!

I have researched both, and I'd go with the GMC/CHEVY. Longer warranty,, longer wheel base, and 6 more inches of cargo space. Plus some options for Ford are included with a Chevy. You can compare them side by side on a GMC site.
