    Should we worry about?

Just off the top of my head guess I would think they are Full Truckload and nothing to worry about for Expediters.

    Firefox problems

You didn't mention what Version of Firefox you are having trouble with. You may want to check out Pale Moon,it is based on the same code as Firefox but is requires even less resources, because they left out a lot of things most of us don't use anyway. The Pale Moon Project homepage

I dont understand how someone can drive expidite loads

Again you are correct it probably is bad advice. I'll phrase it differently. If someone owes you money and you have possession of there property,if you play your cards right you can make it cheaper and more convenient to just pay you. I guess that's where some diplomacy skills come in handy.

I dont understand how someone can drive expidite loads

That is 100% correct he can revoke his permission at any time and you must return equipment in same condition that you received it, in a reasonable amount of time. If he calls the police and reports the truck stolen, that is a false report,he must explain how you got the truck in the first place...

I dont understand how someone can drive expidite loads

To hold an owners truck or drag your feet returning it is not Grand Theft, due to the fact that they gave there permission for you to take the truck in the first place and they agreed to pay you. Pull your truck into a shop's bay and ask for work to be done and don't pay for it, but try to drive...

I dont understand how someone can drive expidite loads

I too have heard of owners not paying there driver, and I never could understand how a driver could not get paid, you have there truck, you will see your truck when I see my pay.I am sorry that your experience did not work out for you,but all the information you needed is posted on this forum had...

    Sprinter or Straight truck

All great answers, but I would say drive for someone like ES for at least one year before buying your own truck. I have talked to many people who were really happy for the first six months only to find disappointment later down the road. That is a big investment to make and then decide this is...

The Load One Dream Team ; Fact or Fiction?

If a fleet owner wants to Boss you around that much then he is treating you as an employee and come tax time I would just file a SS-8 and find out.

    Geniuses in the Shipping Dept

I was away from Expediting for awhile from 2001 until 2010 and two things I noticed that had changed was one the rates where not as good and two the departure calls got really sloppy.I'm not saying your situation was a result of this, just what I feel has changed in the business. Dispatch rarely...

Getting Started. Advice Please. Out of Las Vegas, NV

You have been given good solid advice. The only thing I might add or make clearer is most Fleet Owners don't care where you live as long as you stay out and do the run's. Most of the work is in the East,so you can do it if you don't go home much. I knew a couple from California with FedEx in a...
