Moot has given you good solid advice. Do lots of reading in the forums here, put together a solid plan and save up and do it right. You will find if you have a plan, doing a job you don't like to get there is more bearable.

DROID for me, I like the open market android apps. Camscanner is a great app, it let's me take a pic of my bol's and email them to the company, so I can be done with my paperwork before I leave a dock.

I have a simpler way, after entering the address in my garmin 565t, if the time of arrive it gives me isn't at least an hour before my delivery time I immediatly call dispatch and ask for them to redo their figures.

If the weather turns bad while i'm on route, l call dispatch and say remember that delivery time for this load, well its not going to happen.

I delivered to the GM engine plant at Spring Hill a couple months, and was told then under the new contract the old Saturn plant would reopen. Guess the dock guy knew what he was told talking about.

I do, some trucks are mileage with my company, but i'm on percentage, dispatch doesn't know which is which they just dispatch the loads.
