    Broker own loads?

“Broker loads do pay good if you get the right loads.” What does that mean? Are you saying, “Some lotto tickets pay good if you get the right ticket.” Really, what does that mean??? And for your next use of the word good, it is food taste good, loads pay well.

Nope we do not broker loads. But we do carry freight for many brokers. Such as FedEx, LandStar and nearly every carrier/broker posting on EO.

    How should a contract read

The essentials. How you will be paid, where, when how much. Who is responsible for what, when and where And for me the single most important part of any contract is default recourse, and the wording therein. I want to know that if the individual I contract with will be responsible to pay...

    night driving?

For expedite (IMO) more than 65% night, though that probably varies between 60 and 80% depending long summer days or shot winter days. For us, our driving is more than 65% daytime. We try to only book daytime loads to help keep our tan. (:

    Congratulations to each of you…..

4 Star? Hmmm…. Though we have not used a truck stop shower in over 2 years I’m a bit skeptic about your star rating. Hotels/motels regardless of price are only mentioned as the only "other" shower alternative while out on the road. Not really a great choice for most drivers, unless he/she is on...

    Congratulations to each of you…..

That drive as expedite, over the road, in a van, straight truck or on 18 wheels. It is amazing that you stay away from home for weeks at a time with your only access to a shower being a truck stop or an over priced hotel room. Simply amazing. I/we could not do it.

    Co-Pilot GPS

Leo, your experiences with CoPilot 4 and 9 are indeed yours and they do not sound particularly wonderful. However, we are commenting about CoPilot 11. The versions you have are no longer available and don’t you think your experiences with versions 4 and 9 make your judgment about CoPilot 11...

    Co-Pilot GPS

I stand by my post. “Excellent software for truck drivers that need to reliably take the danger out of navigating their trucks to new pickups and freight drops every day.” While I could teach you what you would need to know to fall in love with CoPilot, why should I, you each have already...

What is a TSA certified driver?

There is no such classification as “Certified TSA driver”….Period. TSA does not certify drivers Scuba Doo. Any paper you have calling you a “Certified TSA driver” did not come from the TSA and you should be careful not to state otherwise.

What is a TSA certified driver?

Greg is right? You could not have taken your online testing if your company was NOT an approved IAC. Your Security Coordinator would approve you for testing only after your satisfactory STA or its acceptable equivalent. All IAC’s may choose the method of testing in which they are required to...

    EORB Concerns fromthe FedEx forum

I like it all I see in EOBR’s. DedX will need to raise rates to pay for all the extra thingy’s big brother needs from you. Oh, my mistake, FedX will just charge you just a little extra for install, service etc. Best new job in the trucking industry is EOBR Technicians, starting salary 55,000 +...

    truck, or van

Driving for someone else is not my advice. For the many drivers I have spoke to that are driving for these small fleets the number of unhappy drivers far outnumber the happy drivers. Best advice stay away from trucking.
