    Mike Rowe, On Work

You missed the whole point of what he was saying. You really need to watch it from start to finish and take your head out of the class envy way of thinking.

    When do you Sleep/

Have yet to pay for a motel room. Did discover in december that a good place I am adding to layover are casino's. Always lots of room, lots of security, and can stay as long as you want with out the hassle. Got a free room from a casino after inquiring about paying for a shower to a pit boss...

    Awards dinner

Anyone going to the awards dinner tonight? I have yet to go to any of the functions put on by the big E. Looking at some of the pics in the newsletter looks like a good time but would actually prefer a little something extra in pay then all these "perks". Supposed to be getting a jacket...

    Perfect!!!

Watched the historic game yesturday and thought I was going to be sick. Everyone except Calvin Johnson and Jason Hansen should be let go. Their secondary is as pourus as my fish net. The O and D lines got pushed around more then a school yard weakling. The linebackers stood there like a house on...

    Merry Christmas

Just wanted to wish everyone at the Big E a very Merry Christmas and a prosperous new year. Hope all can spend the holidays with family and friends. Drivers keep your tires between the ditches and office staff keep up the good work on finding us loads to keep our tires moving.

We don't like your kind around here.

Walmart at exit 32 on 265 in Louisville near the Ford plant has the height restriction at all their entrances like in a drive thru. I think the limit is either 8'6" or 9'0" but I have stayed there all night myself with out incident. Guess they are more van and sprinter friendly. :p

post tips for heating your truck here

I bought mine at walmart but had to go to an outdoor store to get the hose extention. The 20# cylinder is the way to go the 1 pounders will eat you alive and I get mine refilled at the flying j's that have propane. Also as a safety note I strap my tank to my cooler that sits between the front...

    Where'd everyone go?

I hope you are are right. HOWEVER, why ignore it then? IF they are working on something then why not say so? I am sure I am not the only one who put a question in concerning macro-19. I have myself called Michael R. and always gotten her voicemail and I would leave a message and in that...

    Where'd everyone go?

Still here just don't come onto this forum too often anymore. Since before the election its been more like a political forum than a expiditing forum and now everything (well almost everything) is doom and gloom. Came on here about a month back and 13 out of 19 new posts had something to do...

post tips for heating your truck here

Hmmmmm never gave air circulation a thought. That would also help with any fear of pockets of carbonmonoxide issues. I too would have both front windows down about 1-1.5". I knew that moisture was a byproduct of propane heat and just figured that there was noway to fight that. Will have to grab...

post tips for heating your truck here

I used a Mr. Heater Big Buddy last year but became concerned with moisture build up inside of van. Would wake up every morning with lots of frost on windows even with reflectex covering them. It worried me that over time the moisture would start to play havick with the electrical aspects of the...

    Is the UAW responsible?

I agree its both sides fault. My father was a union rep. at the Melble Iron plant in saginaw and my Grandfather on my mothers side was a GM exec. Ohhhh the family get togethers we used to have. They would sit and argue over crap that you would not believe. It made it to when I was 18, back in...

How much have cargo vans been running lately?

You've drawn Bodacious, your hand grip is so tight it will have to pull your arm off to get it lose, and your spurs are jabbed into his ribs. The gate swings open and you say to yourself "help me lord just get through the next 8 seconds". After 2 seconds you feel like ever joint in your body...
