    Hotel Deals

I wish some reputable motel chains had the hourly option. There are two sure ways of getting a load offer. 1) Ordering and just receiving a 16oz steak at Outback. 2) Checking in and setting your "luggage" down in the room of a hotel.

    What a Joke

I am so utterly sick and tired of all this "GREEN" stuff. It is nothing but a **** farce from people who think the earth is going to be here forever. It is not. The earth's days are numbered and it is completely out of our control. You cannot walk 10 feet in this country without reading or...

    Social Security Number Requests

Just make-up a nine digit number and spout it off to make them happy kind of like the illegals do. They won't take the time to verify it.

    Crashed Old Yeller

Thank you to everyone for all the well wishes. I totally despise the fact that this happened as I am religiously pulling off at the first sign of drowsiness. I was running way ahead of schedule and was planning on pulling off closer to the OK state line and resting before going on in at 08:00...

    Crashed Old Yeller

I had the unfortunate experience of crashing while under load late Thursday night. I had picked up in Greensburg, IN and was headed to Muskogee, OK. I was headed west on I-44 in MO at MM 114. Now I could say I swerved to miss a deer or a 4 wheeler cut me off but the reality is I dozed off and...

    What is the law?

I was just being environmentally friendly. Why waste all that fuel on two trucks when one truck could handle it??

    What is the law?

My former carrier who is now out of business used to do this frequently on NLM runs. It was really the only way you could make any money on that cheap freight and that was in the days before the "spot bid" was introduced. I really don't see a problem with it as long as the protect times on...

    Gas Sprinter

My wife's 2005 Chrysler Pacifica has the 3.5L engine in it. No complaints. The owners manual recommends 89 octane but in small print says it will run on 87-89 octane. This vehicle is all wheel drive and weighs nearly 4600 lbs. We get 20 mpg around town and 24 on the highway.

How much has the American Axle strike affected you?

No more vehicles then they are actually selling right now I don't think the strike is affecting us as much as one would think. That's one reason why it has lasted so long. If the manufacturers were REALLY in need of those parts they would have settled by now. Just gives them another excuse to...

    Penske owners

Yes mine has the flat floor as do all of the Penske models with dual rear wheels. My 2002 has the 5.7L (350) gas engine. The 2003's and newer have the 6.0L gas. Both are good motors.

    Penske owners

Jack, I don't want to tell you "you are wrong" but I will say the guy you talked to is wrong. All of the Ford E-350 Penske's have the 5.4L V-8 gas. Ford did not even offer a 10,000# GVWR on that chassis until the 2007 model year which would not yet be in the available pre-owned fleet from...

    fuel pump 1999 chevy

Did I mention the fact that I was at the Flying J in Indy when it quit and had just filled my 35 gallon tank to the brim. Luckily I left it running in the fuel lane and only shut it off after I parked to go in and "make a deposit".

Yep! The GVWR is 10,000# even. Interior length is 14.5' (even though some are advertised as 15' or 16'). Interior width is 92" Rear door opening is 72" high Deck height is 40" from ground. Some have pass through doors but I've noticed alot of the 05 and newer one's do not. I can't...
