I would think twice before going to an ELOG on my own. I would stay on paper,until carrier or government forced to do otherwise. Unless you are sure the device is FMCSA approved.

Some high schools today send female students home with a computerized baby doll. It acts like a real baby,including waking in the middle of the night. It keeps track of how well it has been cared for,and the students are graded accordingly. Not to bad of an idea.

Those that have been doing DOT,seem to be taking the training. I checked Pittsburgh,Pa. and found 25,then I checked Greenville,Pa. a smaller area 100mi. north of Pittsburgh,and found another 25.

I don't know all the deadlines,but I do know May 21 you no longer can go to just any doctor for a DOT certification card,you must go to a doctor who has been certified.
