What $1,000 in rent can afford in 12 different US cities.

Our chicago rent is $1,200 what does that get us....3BR 2 bath 1,200sq ft. Cpl peeps killed within 2 mile radius within last year for mistaken identity and 1 guy that was victim of that knockout game and were in a good quiet area. We get red light cameras that countdown so when it's green and...

    Goodbye FedEx (again)

Brokering might be better money short term but the health of your fleet is directly tied to the success of the company long term. In my humble opinion of course. With that I will say welcome to the family Jim! Another Toledo company might just be figuring this out. MIGHT

Anyone in a Sprinter running for less then .90 a mile?

.95 loaded. DH was covered 75% of the time at loaded rate. Hardly any loads under 600 miles. % of DH miles was 10-20%. As a newbie I thought it was great. Now I try run less n paid more.

Anyone in a Sprinter running for less then .90 a mile?

They weren't taking on anymore fleet owners and I have a little bit diff setup than most guys do so the fleet owner tag applies to my wife. I'm just the driver. If I wanted change from driver to O/O I could have. So called bolt and here we are.

Barrett was great. Lots of miles. Don't think I ever sat a full day. Worked until sprinter owner ****ed me off enough that I DH from Pittsburgh to chicago and dropped his van off and bought my own Promaster cpl days later.

I watched the Bears but I'm a raiders guy. Gotta make all these .80pm loads 2 pay for my honeymoon/raiders trip in November. I don't start van for less $200 99% of time. El cheapo ya mean the guy that now bids loads for them? It's def discipline and more when wife is right there wanting $$$$...

Anyone in a Sprinter running for less then .90 a mile?

Yes, why should I run to just get by while they make hefty profit on many loads. Great thing about negotiation is when you ramp up the cost to run you can quickly go from $850 to $1,200 on a load. They say they got $1,300 in it eventually. Share more of the pie. My operating cost and bills is...

Exactly. Greedy and will try make anything they can at expense of the contractor. Lip service at its best.

Anyone in a Sprinter running for less then .90 a mile?

I'll never take a paid mile move. Not worth the phone call to take their cheap *** .10pm move. I've had great days of being around $1pm but it is going down I believe. There is 1 carrier just under a $1 pm flat rate, that's enticing after what I'm seeing. They definitely will offer you...

Lots of .75-81 pm offers from bolt lately. ****es me off and I turn down a good offer just out of spite but of course I'm in Chicago on the couch so it's easier when mad.

Will a 2000 watt generator power a 9200 BTU rooftop AC?

Have a promaster. No issues cooling. Usually gen runs out of gas and next morning I awake and it's still cool. Not 100% insulated and haven't been in Laredos 105 heat either
