    Ordered new Sprinter

Good luck with that. I hope you plan on spending more on it than a cargo van to operate. That said, I do like my Sprinter.

    this too shall pass

At least we have not had to wait in lines for fuel, or fuel every other day like then. Yes I know we wait in line sometimes, but in the 70s there were real lines.

    Internet access on road

I have a Sprint service that is not an air card, it is a tiny box the size of a cigarette lighter, and a cord that plugs into any USB port. 59 bucks a month for unlimited, and it works in most places. Laredo is an example of a place where it does not work well, even in town. So it takes a...

    Get a fan

Walmart fan in my van. I had a clip on, but it broke when it fell. Now I have a small house type fan, and it not only works well, but it hardly puts a drain on my battery either. Oh yeah, the espar fan only mode is good too.

    Cargo Vans vs Straight Trucks

500 one week and 3000 the next is 7000 per month in a four week month, and 91000 per year with no time off unless you count the 500 weeks as time off. I would be very satisfied with that for a van. I don't know much about expediting in a van, and nothing about expediting in a straight truck. I...

    Co-Drivers perspective

 I have worked for a number of people in my life, and the best bosses to me were ones that offered options, and solutions to problems, rather than just complaining about them. I suppose that is nice in a driver co-driver situation too.

    Unsure

I believe the 7 habits book by Covey would be a great addition to high school curriculum. It is a great guide for business, and life in general. I drove a TT for ten years, and I would not say I had "butterflies" backing up, however, when a skill becomes so ingrained as to allow a person to...

    My first big problem...

Had to replace mine before the van even went in service. I think it was around 1000 miles. Only took about ten minutes in the shop. Mine is an 08 and under warranty, I don't know about the cost. I was told that idling will make it go bad. Have no idea if that is true. That is not why mine...

    Unsure

If you wait til there is room to change lanes, don't go to Cali. I have noticed if you move slowly into the next lane there, it is almost impossible to hit anyone.
