Well we are in mass p up a haz mat load to ca next week this load @ flat rate with tolls etc etc it will be $500 less than today great awesome !!!!

The sad part is they keep charging the customer top dollars for the load (expedited service ) and we going to get paid like a joe banana trucking

Jenny- let's go one step further with your comments on the 60/40 split... You were commenting on owners- what about the drivers? That 60% is getting awfully small. Is it going to be enough to keep the better drivers? Why stay here if you can go to a carrier that offers benefits too?

Why would you log her off the truck? I was told to only do that if an extended time off truck - like a medical leave. Why not just off duty and call disp and put drivers out of service?

Apparently FedEx does not carry enough liability or cargo or something because we can no longer get back haul loads through CH Robinson. So basically there are no back haul options for us anymore.

Had a load in Laredo cancel on Thursday. About 300 miles deadhead- cancelled on my 3rd call to dispatch for a pickup number. Was told by customer svc girl that shipper told her it was just a quote and never an actual load. Ok- 2nd load op of the day- yay we will get out on same day! NOT! 2pm...

Load op this am for pickup Sat am. I will be empty Fri. Load given to another truck for $100 more and he has more deadhead mileage to get there. Dispatcher I spoke with could not see reason we didn't get load. Waiting on response from our CC.
