    Down time

Epcot's Dive Quest is great !!!! I wish Fl was hot spot for freight as Jupiter and Key Largo are mainland favorites of mine. Belize best diving I've done but no freight that way either !!

    cargo van sleepers

Curious to know how many miles you can get out of a sprinter van ?? I know my Class 8 is considered a million mile truck. Vans seem tempting considering the cost of fuel and investment but I keep hearing there are too many sprinters already on the road however, I do have a bunch of hobbies...

    In-Cab Fever!

I'm in a straight truck .. what do the folks in TT's do ?? can you drop your trailer (empty) and go to a mall or walmart ?? I'm sure a TT limits you considerably. If you drop the trailer at a truck stop for a few hours, is there a charge ??

Heads-up when you decide to buy a truck

Please list the dealer. If they directed you to a shady operation, I would like to know so I can stay clear. Many of us sign too quickly. Its a matter of trust.

    Cummings/DD/Hino/Mercedes

Mercedes before DD ?? I have no experience with DD but have heard nothing but great things. I know the Cummings is affordable to work on/rebuild and servicing on the road is no issue. How about Mercedes servicing ???

    East Coast Expediting ??

Not focusing strictly on the east coast just asking if some companies are heavier in that area than others. As I mentioned in an earlier post, I'll run anywhere but I live on the east coast so I would obviously like to run that area as much as possible. Its hard to see what companies have the...

    Cummings/DD/Hino/Mercedes

Trying to get folks to comment on these engines ..... I have a Cummings and swear by it. And finding someone to work on it while on the road is fairly easy . I know many that love their DD. I know noone with the Mercedes or Hino. All comments appreciated.

    What Truck To Buy??

Good thread. Seems most are leary of newer makes and understandably so. I know nothing about Hino. My Kenworth has a cummings 300 which I regard highly. I've heard many many drivers swear by DD. I'd like to hear more about the Mercedes and Hino so everybody please put your 2 cents in.

    Sprinter or Straight Trk

I've read where most feel there are too many sprinters (B's) already on the road to be a good investment but I was wondering if it varies by region ?? Most of the posts I've read seem to center on the midwest. Is there a chance the east coast might be better for vans ?? Just looking to edumacate...

    East Coast Expediting ??

Are there any companies like FECC that do more in the southeast ?? I know Fl is dead but I thought N & S Carolina were suppose to be hot areas ??? I don't care where I go, but would like to run the east coast approx. 50 % of the time if possible. I've heard with Panther it seems like the midwest...

    Advise on startup

Thanks Dave ...... what do you normally haul ?? I know it can be anything but as an example, the midwest hauls alot of automotive stuff. Also, I'm thinking straight truck. Is that area/industry pretty wide open or is it more suited for a TT or van ?? Lastly, the vendors you listed ... they are...
