I have never driven a truck for a fleet owner but I wore out about 8 trucks before I speced out a new one.all that is necessary is to drive a good number of different trucks.

I was pulled over in Illinois for no plate on front, truck was based out of Ohio and Ohio said the plate goes on the back. DOT man goes in the scale house and came back out and told me that he learns something new everyday.:)

Last frame that I had stretched was in 95 and it cost 2800. ICT sleepers gave me the guys name.

Why did Panther lower their mileage pay? when I was there mileage pay was $1.35 a loaded mile and they were making more money then they knew what to do with then. BTW for you old timers that was when Cal of C&M was a dispatcher for Panther.

Sounds like you wasted a lot of money on TAs and Frightliner. I can`t imagine being in trucking any amount of time and still trying to get a truck fixed at either place.

How about the company with the big ego that names their driveway after themselves and uses it for a street address. ask someone for directions and they never heard of that street.:-(

I guess it`s just habit. that was the way drivers referred to highways when I started driving a truck, I hauled my first steel coil in 1958. retired last year.;)

If expedite drivers were not so new to trucking you would know what OOIDA has done for drivers,Have any of you heard of Landstar having to make changes in their drivers contracts due to OOIDA. or how about the state of Tn. Tn used to really take advantage of o/o's and other trucks until OOIDA...
