Yes it takes at least a good 6 months before a dispatcher is on top of things. There is a ton of info to learn and it just depends on how quick they pick up on the system. Some get it,some don't. Yes,they are brought in through temp agencies and start at 10.00/hr. No bonuses or even benefits until they are here for four months. After that time they are given a small increase in pay but no bonuses. We do get a lot of high school grads, college kids and housewives, not very many at all...
