Expediting YouTubers ? What’s your Opinion?

I wonder if I can make money on YouTube posting my many travels from the couch. Sometimes I travel to the bedroom to sleep. You can see hundreds of empty medication bottles and all of my medical gadgets lol. How to be on 10 medications and still stay conscious lol. Yeah, a lot of people make...

Big Truck How long out before home time?

A good story about how I once got a cargo van load out of Laredo for 1.50 per mile. Yes it's true. I used a set of cell phone signal jammers so that no one's dispatch could get a hold of their drivers to bid on loads. After multiple tries to get bids, said load board finally awarded the load to...

Big Truck How long out before home time?

Listen up and I'll tell a story. About an expediter growing old. Some would strive for fame and glory. Others like OVM are not that bold! lol

Big Truck How long out before home time?

As the tires spin, let the story begin. As the fuel burns, the expedite world turns. Every mile we drive! Every delivery we strive! Reading stories is how we survive!

Big Truck How long out before home time?

In all fairness, it could have been a load to Alaska! But anything shy of that, the rate is too high!

If you can get 1.50 per mile on loads, you can handle one way trips, or taking cheaper loads to get back home. There are still brokers out there where you can get good money for cargo van loads. You just need to know where they are. I have one here operating out of Long Beach. Other carriers...

So when I get out of CA and off the free medical insurance because I am low income, I will cover my monthly medical expenses out of pocket and just be surviving. I can sit here for 10 more years and die or grow old on this couch, or I can get out there and at least fight this stuff and see some...

I know the rates are low. I used to get around 70 cents per mile out of here with Bolt. Not too bad considering, but that was in 2010. I think a few loads I got 80 cents per mile with Charles. I never got offered under 70 CPM though, but times might have changed. I'm just looking into surviving...

You're stealing my future loads! I never had issues getting loaded out of CA. Not as an independent and not working for larger carriers. There are runs out here.

I might even go back to truck driving school and get back into the big trucks, but there are no part time gigs in the big trucks.

That's too low for loads going out of Seattle. People don't believe it, but there are a lot of loads coming out of Washington State. I have gotten them before from Bounce Logistics. You just have to be patient and wait for them.

2500 a month and a house and car paid for. I could live on that. It's hard to even consider obtaining a good retirement when you are chronically ill though. Save up as much money as you can while your body still works because one day your body will become a prison cell.

I could get my own customers too from a few sources I have. I'm just not healthy enough to be on call 24/7 365. I need to be able to go out of service when needed and not have an entire company hanging on my shoulders.

Baby boomers all have good retirements. They should enjoy themselves before they become too sick to do anything. Spending retirement years in a cargo van is not what I would do if I had a good pension.

Actually I would prefer 1 load to Laredo and then wait however long and 1 load back and then a few small loads in between lol. Just enough to survive and not have to mop floors.

I can pass a med card, but gave up my CDL. I was depressed and cut it loose before I figured out what the problem was. I now know why I was feeling so unwell after the clots and have the issue under control. As long as I keep my mouth shut all my numbers look good for everything and my meds do...
