Been out of the business for six months...I left with a bad taste for pretty much all of the loyalty card programs and had gone the YMCA route...(still a good option...they are everywhere...) Since my return...pilot flying j has been my choice...lotsa locations...no prob building shower...

Man! $27.00 a day...or even $12.00?... 6 gal external tank on Honda 2k lasts 4 days running 24 hours a day(without air)....I knew that thing would pay for itself!!...and just plain Honda dependable too!!

I had an air mattress in my first van...it was easy to set up and fill, and was extremely comfortable...only down side was air portal was located at sliding door so that outside air was used to fill it.... A little chilly if you jumped right into bed.... It's a good option for the solo...

One might think...after reading these posts...that expeditors, have become expeditors because they are independent thinkers....

I agree....would prob go with a small window model the next time around...mounted thru back door...better aerodynamics...cheaper...and I think one Honda would power it....

I pretty much ignore the 8550 limit and stay very cognizant of the 10k rule....I tracked loads for 2 years running a very heavy tare...around 7200#... I only went over manufacturer specs less than 20% of the loads... Printer scanners....it's less than a hundred bucks...they really don't break...

Use entire van for boyhood bus and personal use.... The area over the wheel wells has always been available for personal items and storage. Also the entire passenger seat area if you run solo...if your short enough to sleep sideways in the van then I'd recommend. A bed that folds up into a temp...

Pretty slow week for me....at petro in Atlanta tonight...will b in Scranton/ Wilkebarre area for Christmas by sun.....

I use an espar d4 in a well insulated sprinter with 1 or 2 Honda 2000's depending on needing to run air cond or not. I heat the entire sprinter and never go above a 30% setting for heat...the Honda generators and the espar heater are both well worth the $$ you will spend... My only complaint is...
