Is a Lease Purchase with Panther worth it for me?

I'm 27. I have 2 and a half years experience expediting with a cargo van (of my own). Van freight is very oversaturated with drivers so I left. Trying to find work around home is very difficult so I figure I might as well get back into what I know. I loved expedited freight and seeing the...

How do Expeditors get paid as contractors LEGALLY???

I did I little bit of research. For trucking companies, it seems like when they hire contractors JUST to drive, they basically lease the truck to them. The terms of the lease would say things like, -May only take loads from X companies dispatchers -May not find your own loads -Pay is 40% of...

How do Expeditors get paid as contractors LEGALLY???

If I own vans, and put drivers in them, I would plan on paying them as contractors. However, my accountant said that they may legally be considered employees. The main reason for this is that they would be using my equipment. How do all other fleet owners LEGALLY get around this?

    On-Demand Program

I plan on switching my contract with the company I'm with to an "on-demand" capacity in order to be able to pick my own loads because it may be more profitable while having them as a last resort. However... they require that I sign on with a different company first in an "on-demand" capacity...

Looking to become a fleet owner.

$10,500 if I do a Chevy express and do a rooftop (which I'm not doing, they can custom build one for me but I may not do that either. They offer standard options for sprinters that I I going to talk about but should be about the same price point for an extended cab)

Looking to become a fleet owner.

It would be a LWB chevy with curtainside. It would work fine, if not better than the one I use now. It's a Chevy express woth a box on the back. I want basically do the same thing but with a longer overall length to accomidate a separate sleeper and a curtainside body to lighten the weight. Will...

Looking to become a fleet owner.

I'm aware. They would be under 10K. I just want to know if the extra cargo area is worth the 10/20K for a small fleet.

Looking to become a fleet owner.

I just need some opinions What brand of sprinter/cargo van is the most profitable in your opinion?(Assuming you finance the whole thing) Are curtainside vans viable (Planning on doing a Chevy express cutaway with the cab extended for a sleeper, NOT ROOFTOP, and long enough for 3 skids) For a...

HELP have a simple question about passing DOT inspection.

So, I found out yesterday that (after messing with the radio and breaking it) that no dash lights (blinkers, seat belt, leaving key in etc...) cause any noise to be made. I.e. clicking when the blinkers are on. BUT, everything still works perfectly fine! Just no audio indicators, only visual...
