They are pretty self sufficient. Usually in the spring you treat for mites, and give medications for certain diseases, but other than that you really don't need to mess with them unless you see a problem.

We have these two hives at our house, and this is the honey we got from just 2 frames. Beekeeping is a fun hobby, but can quickly become an expensive hobby if you're not careful. It's a fun hobby even with the few stings we've gotten over the years.

We rarely park out front because so many times the lot is very small and moving around parked cars can be interesting.

I don't really like sodas, but will occasionally have 7-UP. Do like the tiny cans when we can find them. If I get tired of plain water, I will put a splash of lemon juice in a bottle and it's very refreshing.
