So after replacing the rear temp sensor I let the truck idle with no change to the check engine. I turned it off called HINO and scheduled an appointment well i took it over there and on my way it regen-ed and cleared the code. So needless to say that was is one appointment I dont mind missing..
The old one did push out and it was a OE one but the sensor was re used so that makes sense, I know it pushed because the old one came with the truck in a box.
sounds like you don't want to be over the road but dospatch has other plans for you. I'd change dispatch or tell them how far you max out at. If you make it far they will send you and guess what you won't have time for another load until its a new day.
did u ever get a chance to get that p/n? I appreciate the help.. I think it may be the wires as it appears to have been twisted going in. I have not pulled it out yet to try to test but that's my next move before buyin a new one.
make sure your exhaust brake is off when you are trying to use the cruise. The problem maybe you are accidently hitting the right side stalk while driving engaging the exhaust brake? My 268 will not allow cruise when exhaust brake is on.
So the TECH noted 3rd temp sensor from downstream. Does anyone know its location on a 2011 268. I took it in some time ago and was the told temp sensor needed replacement and they said it was the one long that comes out the front assuming temp sensor 1? So I replaced it along with a 150k kit...
