    How inconsiderate some people are.

From what I've heard, urinating in public in South Carolina can land you on the sex offenders registry.

    50 best trucker songs

I didn't see this one mentioned either. I remember my dad used to play it all the time. He drove T/T OTR for 30 years.

    Couriers (Ride alongs)

Thanks for the info Phil. It's good to know that carriers don't require all drivers to haul strangers. I did read one of your posts from 2006 regarding couriers and how they have to ride in the passenger seat during the entire trip.

    Couriers (Ride alongs)

I've been researching expediting for quite a while now and today I ran across something I've never read about before. Apparently sometimes part of the "freight" you haul is a person. Do all carriers require occasional "guests"? It just seems ludicrous to me that freight haulers would have to...

I can't believe Phil Madsen responded to my post! :) You and Diane are like celebrities to my wife and I. We both read your blog from beginning to end. We also read...

Question from a potentially new husband/wife straight truck team

My wife and I are looking to get into straight truck expediting. My wife and I both love to drive and our driving records are clean. I've been reading Phil's (ATeam) blog for quite a while. My question is how should we go about entering the industry? We want to start off driving for a fleet...

    Complete Guide to Understanding Loadboards

Hi All! I'm new here. My wife and I are excited about getting started in the industry next week. I've read on here where drivers can book their own loads while waiting to hear from their carrier. Could someone with expertise in this area explain to a total noob how one would go about doing...

Yes the owner pays for qualcomm and all expenses for the van. We only have to pay for workers comp insurance.

    Sprinter/cargo van team expectations

I tried to negotiate with the sprinter owner for 60/40% and we pay for fuel but no dice. We are taking the job because it's a brand new Sprinter with an extended custom sleeper with a full size bed, fridge, microwave and tv. I've heard and read good things about Panther too.

    Sprinter/cargo van team expectations

Thanks so much for the info Zoli. That's not much but it'll have to work until we save enough to buy our own van.

    Sprinter/cargo van team expectations

Thanks MissKat. We're OK with not getting paid for a few weeks. But once we do start getting paid, any idea how much we might make on average?

    Sprinter/cargo van team expectations

Hi! I'm new here. I've read a lot on this forum and the information I've read here has been great. My wife and I recently agreed to drive a new sprinter van for an O/O. The van is leased on with Panther. We plan to run hard and take most load offers. We plan to drive 5-6 weeks and then take a...
