I think this is a good idea.

Delta asks the Justice Department to put unruly travelers on a 'no-fly' list

Delta said it has barred 1,900 passengers from flying on the carrier for failing to follow mask requirements.

Start with a 6 month ban and go up from there....because you never know about a person's mental health.

Depends on the nature of the incident that got them on there in the first place.

Minor stuff might get them a shorter ban - by shorter I mean less than years ...

More serious stuff (like significant violence) might warrant longer and perhaps even permanent bans.

One thing is for sure: the government and/or airlines need to provide way for people to seek redress if they feel they are on there wrongly.
