Just Google "The Left can't meme" and you'll see. There's even an article on why that's true based on science, written by a lefty journalist. The Urban Dictionary has several entries, with one standing above all the rest. The Right is so good at it that Facebook and Twitter have started banning the best ones, for "hate speech" and hurt feewings. The Left is simply too politically correct, afraid to offend anyone (other than who they are pointing their vitriol at, and then it tends to be mean-spirited), and they by and large don't have a sense of humor.

The Left certainly didn't come up with either one of these, and they're hilarious.

That Tweet isn't about the Texas governor or the people of Texas, t's about the people with Democrat governors who have remained silent about the ineptitude of their own governors, but criticize Cruz.

For example, apply that Tweet to the people of Michigan who haven't complained about Whitmer, but are apoplectic about Cruz. (example used for illustrative purposes only, not intended to hurt feelings)

In any case, imagine if you will, you're without power, you have no water, and it's freezing. Your wife and kids are pleading with you to take them someplace warm and safe. You have the means to just that. What do you do to provide for your family?

His kids are 12 and 10. It's debatable as to whether kids that age can understand the concept of a Senator. I know kids much older than that who so badly understand the concept that they think the number of Senators a state has should be based on the population of the state.

In any case, a Senator plays no role in state and local governments, and even less of a role in power companies management or operations.

However, he came back from Cancun and the power came back on and the temperatures started rising. I suppose you're not even going to give him credit for that.

I didn't know that Cruz was the Governor. He doesn't run the state. He is just a Senator who already voted for relief for Texas. Then he took his family out of the state. Big deal.(sarcasm)
Remember a few years ago when Romney was running for President and Hurricane Sandy hit New Jersey? While Obama was meeting Gov. Christy and hugging on the beach. Romney was volunteering in Ohio to package supplies to send to NJ. He was criticized by reporters that it was a publicity stunt.
For Republicans, either way it's bad.

I also see that Florida Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis is being criticized in the "news" media for prioritizing vaccinations for the elderly population. They happened to be at the top as being at most risk of complications with the virus. But since that demographic also happens to vote for him in elections it's just wrong and screams devious political opportunism according to "journalists" and pundits.

They love Trump in Mexico. Did you not know that? He's consistently had higher approval ratings in Mexico than he's had in the US. The fact that Mexicans, in Mexico, love Trump so much that they would craft a beautiful statue in Trump's honor, maybe the most beautiful statue anyone has ever seen, shouldn't make you "FDLOL." It should make you swell up with pride that we finally had a president that regular people around the world look up to and admire.

It really doesn't matter what Mexicans think of him, it's what he thinks of them. Of course, having a golden statue made by people he has despised and insulted is ok. I get it now.

He hasn't despised or insulted them. If he had they'd have picked up on it, Mexicans are pretty smart. The only reason liberals in America think he did that is because the media has told them, repeatedly, to think that he did. They've convinced liberal to conflate "some" "illegal aliens" from Mexico with "all" Mexicans, meaning that liberals believe all Mexican women are rapists.
