Loaded ... Laredo to Flint, Mi.. 4 skids 900 lbs... with bed on front 48" skid , then 2 stacked at 68 " and last 1 at 55" tall ... shipper tried their hardest to squeeze 6 stacked at 78 " into my van .. l showed them on dock with my tape measure that it wouldn't fit ... they wouldn't listen ... so 1 forklift driver and 1 supervisor took 45 minutes outside to put Puzzle of freight together ... guess what ... they loaded freight exactly like i suggested 1 hour earlier ... GM approved ..

I down in Brownsville TX. I’ve never been here before. Nearest truck stop is 58 miles away. Where do you other van drivers sleep down here? Being a border city would the Walmart be a safe place?

Yeah, no need to DH to McAllen from there.
Forget Walmart! When in southern TX .... HEB is the place to go ...
What are you afraid of exactly? Getting deported ...? lol You'll be fine man, relax ...
Mingle with the locals. Go get some tacos or tamales tomorrow ...

Famous Dave's! You the man.

Some on here would have tried to get away with employee discount roller dogs.

Or is she tired of them already ?

The newer Sprinters have a super high roof model. I'm not sure of the dims. I don't think they're very common. Who knows .. maybe they came across one & think they're all the same dims. They all look the same .... The tape measure should have resolved it ...

Anyway, safe travels ...

That might work in bfe (Bison F**k Egypt), but not Livonia.

It all makes sense now.
Ya know you're going to retire and no Speedway or Pilot close by.
Look at options.
See Family Dollar close to expiration date turkey dogs as your best (aka cheapest) way out.
What to do now ?????
Then a flash of genius. Go to work as a short order cook and fine tune those culinary skills.
Learn all you can about tube steaks.
3 days, Mission accomplished !

Move on to the big FD !

Note: New York City must have a humongous Family Dollar.
I've seen NYFD hats all over NY !
