Texas drivers

So what's the deal with Texas drivers? I came out of there a couple days ago, and I couldn't believe what I was seeing. Drivers (many) driving slow in the left lane, not moving over when a faster vehicle was behind them. Then, when we'd get into a town and the speed limit would drop, they would speed through the little town. We'd get out of town again and the speed limit would increase, and they'd drive slower again. It was like they wanted to drive a steadier speed, rather than drive as fast as they were allowed at any given time.

Then, I stop for gas, and other drivers are smoking at the pumps.

I was glad to see Texas shrinking in my rear-view mirror.

Those are all the yankees and/or illegals that have invaded Texas.

For making time when needed. Is there a finer stretch of roadway than I20 from DFW to El Paso ? The Texas Autobahn.
Forget the mpg's for this special occasion. Im gonna get an exxtra 1.5 hours of sleep.

You're from Illinois and you are complaining about bad drivers from other states?

Illinois drivers are fantastic drivers. And I'm not just saying that. The worst drivers are Texans and Iowans, worst that I've found, anyway.

You alway know Detroit drivers, busted mirrors and paint scratches on the side of the car where they either hit a barrier pole at Churches fried chicken or where they were trying to pass someone at a traffic light.
