Mr. Responsibility

Barack Obama is now saying he accepts full responsibility for the failure of our government to intercept the Crotch Bomber who attempted to explode an airliner over Detroit on Christmas Day. If the explosives had worked correctly, and killed nearly 300 people, would Obama be so honorable as to accept responsibility? Of course he would be running for the tall grass... firing underlings all along the way.

This is the same man who threw his white grandmother under the bus to enhance his election chances. She was expendable when it became expedient to do so.

Will Obama's legacy be torn asunder by exploding underwear?

It takes a hell of a man to take responsibility
for our securities failure.
Homeland security is aparently not doing their job.
The president cannot be every where, all the time.

The intelligence agencies are controlled by the civilian government. That government sets 100% of the priorities of what those agencies are working on. They also set the "tone" of their work. The attitude of the government towards the work that they do affects the moral of those working in that business.

Lack of funding over that last 60 years, again caused the civilian government controls that as well. A major lack of trained experienced agents, again caused by the civilian government is hampering efforts as well.

It is very easy to blame the agencies, and I am not, in any way excusing any mistakes that they may have made, and ignore the role that those who control those agencies play in these problems.

In the end the "buck" does stop at the top. Obama has not been taking his primary job as president, that is the job of CIC, very seriously. He is putting most of his efforts into things that are not even a legal role of the Federal Government, like health care and cap and trade, and putting the defense of the Nation on the back burner.

I take this to mean we are in agreement that Obama is truly the man from Hell. Join with me in hoping this Hell Dweller goes home.

Yep, Obama is a "son of the Devil" to be sure. He is another link in a very long chain that will be used to "chain up" the American people and control them. He has to go. All he did in this case was screw things up for a year, then read a speech that someone else wrote to cover his butt and make him "seem" strong.

Obama simply mouthed the words, "I take full responsibility." Then proceeded to do nothing concrete. Pretty pablum to hide his ugly weakness.

On the bright side of this, he gave another speech so we got another chance to see the inside of his nose as he looks down on his serfs. His head posture when he speaks reminds me so much of an early 20th Century fascist dictator from Italy.

Barack Hussein Obama's acceptance of responsibility reminds me of Janet Reno taking full responsibility for the disaster at Waco with the Branch Dividians. It's nothing more than lip service when these politicians "take responsibility" and let someone else take the consequences.

You got that right Pilgrim. All of our current politicians are very good at that. In fact, it is one of the few things that they are good at.

Sure, Obama will take responsibility when there are no dead bodies on the ground. Let a terrorist attack cause actual American deaths and Obama will go into hyperspeed pointing fingers at everyone but himself. No one believes this man.

I have barely glanced at the Soapbox the past month or so. I see I haven't missed much.

Nope, just a bunch of old farts voicing they views, how terrible. Not to worry, I have no doubt that many are voicing different views on other sites, young and old farts alike. Nothing like being able to do that. Try that in Iran.
