I'm sure alot of you have been following the case of the former New Mexico High school football player.
If not here is some background: He hurt his knee in a football game, fairly simple surgery to fix. Well some idiot Dr didn't use sterile instruments. He got a bad infection which was mis diagnosed, and amputation of the leg was ordered.
After all of this the family kept the same Dr. who does the amputation while drunk and cuts off the wrong leg! So this kid is left with no legs from the knee down, all because he needed simple knee surgery.
I just read that yesterday his case was thrown out of court, so no money and he is stuck with legal bills.
