Still high up here at 3.93/US gal in Ontario. That's the cheapest I've found so far (1.039/L).

The Price of fuel is falling due to the consumers not buying as much , cutting back on there unnessary driving.Today gas fell to $2.59 a gal here in SE Wisconsin .This is a Blessing compared to the $4.39 we were paying a couple months back.Diesel fuel is still around $3.49 a gallon here.I seen that hit just under $5.00 back couple months ago.
I am sure the politians would love to take credit for this ,But it is the consumers, and the recession that we are now in is dropping the price.Have no fear our good freinds who run the oil cartels are now going to cut down on production by a million and a half barrels per day.

hate to pee on this picnic, but OPEC has started lowering production to put a stop to our happiness. It makes one think, if we were to start more drilling, they would be less able to make such moves effective. More availability equals lower prices, as long as we depend on OPEC nations they've got us by the short hairs. Now which guy wants to drill and which guy wants to protect owls and snail darters?

The enemy is within?? Oh contrare' my dear friend OVM, capping the wells is just part of good ole' market capitalism. Supply and demand. Whatever the market will bear. When the price goes down , cut the supply and the price will come back up. That is the american way... How can you possibly figure that Bush and Cheney brough the price down?? That command stuff doesn't play here....

I don't think they did...I was spoofing all those that were blaming them for the increase....

3 months ago I told a fellow driver that gasoline would be at, or below, $1.99 before Jan 1st. His name is Rogers Andrews if you wish to verify that statement or I'll gladly take a polygraph test.

In Cincinnati there are stations selling gasoline at $1.99.

In reference to the political comments: We tend to blame everything on those in government, but a great deal of our woes are because of our doing. Why? It is always easier to blame someone else.

So.....

Instead of having 3 cars cars in the driveway and letting the kids drive to school, get a little grit and tell them to ride the bus. You pay taxes, me too, for a school system that provides transportation and the school buses run at 50% capacity.

Instead of running to the store five times a week, make a list and go one time.

Instead of driving at 65-70-75-80....well, you get the picture. I hope.

I just got gas for $2.22 a gallon here in Monticello,AR. That's not awesome if you ask me, but it beat the heck out of $3.50 or more a gallon like we've been seeing. I just wondering how soon after the election until prices sky rocket again.
