The State of Hate

No on the AMEN. Yet again we see the gay propaganda machine in action. In the article they make it sound like they would just refuse to serve gay people but in the video the question was asked specifically about a gay commitment ceremony. Now if they want to compare things on an equal footing and ask the florists if they would bring flowers to a ceremony to celebrate a guy cheating on his wife it would be a valid comparison.

How ever you want to spin it...just proves they all pic n choose what "sins" they feel warrant there ignorance. .and this whole religious freedom is BS. .which is no surprise. .

Not hard to argue that the vast majority of bible belt is the biggest group of hypocrites. .they track porn viewing. .and gay porn...it's most viewers..the whole bible belt..

So to have factual numbers say one thing...and a bunch of holy rollers say another....numbers don't lie ( holy rollers do)..they are fact..

It's not a matter of spinning it. I'm talking about making valid comparisons which would be needed to actually prove anything. Some people do pick and choose what they want to follow and some don't. There are also times that the "picking and choosing" is a matter of how the Bible is interpreted. The freedom of religion argument is far from BS and it's what this country was founded on.

I've heard that before. Now assuming that the info is accurate it would actually make sense because gays in that area are going to have a harder time dating. That doesn't make them all hypocrites though.

Yes holy rollers lie and so do atheists, Muslims, gays, straights, bisexuals, etc.

Tremendous numbers in attendance at church today. Standing room only began 30 minutes before service started. People of all ages and all walks of life coming together to hear the Gospel proclaimed.

Actually that's false, of the top ten per capita porn consuming states only two would be considered bible belt and none in the top five.

That only speaks to gay porn. Honestly that could simply mean they have more closet gays or such. It shows nothing in regards to religious people being the viewers. I'm sure some are but there is really no proof of it in that article.

How many are there purely to "see and be seen"? To show off their new outfits? The ladies' hats? [Or, if you're Kanye West, your ripped jeans and tshirt full of holes.]
If they truly wanted to "come together to hear the Gospel proclaimed", why aren't they there every Sunday, or even most Sundays? Easter and Christmas are the only occasions when a great many people go to church, which points to the sincerity of their commitment to religion.
I don't doubt your sincerity, but going to church makes one a Christian, like standing in a garage makes one a car.

Cheri, your hostility is duly noted. As a favor, I will take your anger issues to the professionals: the gray-haired Pentecostal grannies. They will pray for you. Within two weeks you will be refreshed with a spirit of kindness.

I'm guessing you missed the report about the scientific study to learn whether prayer works, lol. [Spoiler: it doesn't] Thank you for the effort, but don't waste your time, or theirs, when there are much better things y'all could be doing instead.

PS Why do you think it's hostility and anger to point out that so many people only go to church twice a year? I thought it's a fairly well known fact, myself. I even used to be one of those people.

Where do we stop this non sense??

Excellent point.
When I was nursing, it was difficult for me to "care for" some patients, [both emotionally and actually], such as: drunk drivers who had killed someone, the parent who abused a child, the spouse/significant other who battered a woman - they made my stomach turn. But my job required me to put my personal beliefs aside and care for them the same as people who [I believed] deserved it, and I cared about doing my job to the best of my ability.
If I hadn't, I'd have no business keeping it, and the same goes for anyone else.

Does it really matter why they were there? Some people gather at a protest not because they believe the cause but simply because they think it's cool. Some people go to the truck show and never enter a building just to be with friends. Why is it when it comes to church people claim you. Must always attend or your a faker, I call :censoredsign:. The point is they were there .

This post is a prime example of the basis for this issue - the bigotry displayed by liberals toward people of faith, especially southern Christians. We've seen this PornHub map before, and as Xiggi pointed out, it in no way proves religious people in the Bible Belt are the largest consumers of gay porn. Using that same false statistical application one could draw the conclusion that minorities are the largest consumers of porn considering the top states mentioned also have the highest percentages of minority population. The First Amendment guarantees American citizens the freedom to practice their religion. It also allows the mainstream media to disparage Christians in every possible negative manner without a shred of justification.

Nurse Holland seems to be under the delusion that she is self employed. Actually, she is required by the hospital she works for to take care of Nazi sympathizers, criminals or anybody else that comes to their facility for care and treatment.

On another thought, the free market always seems to find a solution to this kind of nonsense. It could very well be that in the future we'll see bakeries, pizza restaurants and similar businesses quit their catering services altogether and cease to make wedding cakes. How many small businesses like Memories Pizza will look at what happened to them and decide it's just not worth the hassle?

That is my take on it as well. A lot of Christian bashing going on. The liberal media just loves to find any opportunity to denigrate them. The worst thing the media can dig up about them regarding the Indiana law, is some pizza owner who said they would serve gays in their establishment, but wouldn't participate in their wedding plans because of their religious objections. The utter vitriol that this establishment endured, and nearly put out of business, due to their religious beliefs were appalling. Fortunately, many observed what an injustice this was becoming to this family, and came to their financial aid. Many Christian bashers will say that the people who donated to them are just a bunch of bigots themselves coming to the aid of another bigot, instead of seeing people come to the aid of someone who was unfairly bullied . What the Christian haters don't realize is, if a gay pizzeria owner were being threatened, and in risk of losing their business by bullies, many of those same Christians would be coming to their financial aid as well, regardless of their disagreement about gay marriage that many of them have.

It probably won't happen, but I'd like to see a straight, white, Christian couple enter a gay or minority-owned bar or restaurant and be harassed or refused service altogether and then see them have the stones to file a discrimination suit. Wonder how much publicity and news coverage that would get?;)
