I doubt she will get the nomination but she would be a big improvement over the nothing we have now. If the republicans want to win they have to have someone tolerable running and they have to have Bachmann, Cain or Rubio as the VP candidate. If not, it's four more years of doom.

Republican establishment won't allow it. Remember, they already tried to get her voted out. Looks like the beginnings of another circus campaign.

Hawk...do you think she'll split the GOP and weaken them even more...as the Dems watch the divide and conquer unfold? and Obama gets a cake walk again...

They need to quit messing around and pick someone electable. Otherwise the votes are going to be splintered and Obama will win by default:eek:

Boy I thought I was the only one to think this.

He will win because the GOP keep dragging their feet and fail to actually get behind anyone.

As it was talked about Sunday morning by some dems, the republicans missed the boat and the likeliness of them finding someone who can attract the independents is getting slimmer and slimmer as the weeks go by.

AND for those who think that the tea party may carry a republican to victory, remember that most of the gains were made in local elections where the people who were running were close to those who were voting. Much of the victories were not landslides or huge marginal wins.

If you didn't catch her interview with Chris Wallace on his show yesterday, here's a link for ya. It's definately a much watch. I especially liked the question from Wallace at the 14:05 mark in the video, what an idiot.

I would love to hear thoughts of what others thought of her interview.

link: Rep. Michele Bachmann Talks Earmarks, Obamacare and Gay Marriage; Sen. Kyl on Debt Talks - Interviews - Fox News Sunday - FoxNews.com

I thought I would just bring this back to the forefront instead of the alcoholic, homeless guy from Ft. Wayne.

So......any thoughts on the Bachmann interview?

The homeless alcoholic porno watching city council candidate is more interesting:p

Unfortunately you have a point :D I was hoping to get some feedback on what other's thought of the interview though. I guess people just aren't interested in what Bachmann has to say, or not to say.

Did not watch but read it.I can only think the question at 14:05 is the are you a flake? In my opinion not really out of line.and her answer to that question was pretty good.I myself do not think she is a flake.
what I want to know is what is really so different now then two years befor the last election or the one befor that or any of them for that matter.this far ahead of the election there is always alot of people who throw their hat in the race.with the media so biased as they are it is no wonder its all about the G.O.P not haveing anyone that is electable.and we will hear this all the way till election day.this was the same thing we heard from the right about Obama in 08
I belive the tea party will play a big role in 2012.as the one person said they had no landslide or huge marginal wins and there wins were on the local stage.other then the president they are all local if you look at it like that.when you elect a person to either the house or the senate yes its done local but it is in a way on the national level.and has a national impact.
Democrats say G.O.P has missed the boat. If you listen to the left there is no way Obama can be beat but really what else are they gonna say?Obama is a one term kinda of guy.I dont think so!
As far as the independents go i think many of them are still watching and will watch both sides right up untill election day.there are many of them that voted for Obama in 08 that are not happy with him at all.hell for that matter there are many democrats that are not happy with him.
i just think its funny how so many people put so much stock in what the media from the left says.and how this election is any different than any in the past.we as the voter are the same way we think only the person we want can win

Well it isn't just democrats that are saying this, a lot of people in the republican party and independents like are saying they should have picked one person and back them 100% because Obama will be a hard one to beat. The money isn't there for the party to support any candidate at this point, with Obama doing his part to raise a lot of money 18 months before the election means a lot of catching up to do. In the 2008 election, he led the McCain camp by a 3 to 1 margin and I would expect that to be 3.5 to 1 margin this election.

never in the history of elections has the party not in the white house this early said we have one person that the party as a whole is backing.I dont really think there are as many republicans as people want the country as a whole to think that there is no one that is electable in the feild yet.
so in this feild of unelectable people the republican party should just pick one and get it over with.with out really giving the people the time to see what the people running are really about and what their voting records really show.
thats like many people on the left and the man him self saying trump is a republican.lets take a look at MR.TRUMP he gets this whole birther thing all fired up again when most republican think Obama is a american.all the while drawing very bad press for the right.yes there are some people that belive it nut hey thats their right.then there is his tv show its on N.B.C. the largest left wing media outlet there is. but it goes deeper then that take a look who OWNS most of NBC well that would be G.E. and who is a top Obama adviser Jeffery Immelt the CEO of GE.Now really do you really think that NBC is giong to be paying a guy millions of dollars a year if he stand against everything they stand for.
then of course there is always trumps campaign donations.yes he has givin money to republicans yet most of the money and for the longest time it has gone to democrats.and not just the ones from his home state.Harry reid,Rahm emanuel,Hillary clinton,John kerry,Charles rangel,Charles schunmer just to name a few.dont really see any friends in them to the republican party.so i guess the left is right we should just pick a person and be done with it.we should stop selecting the person to run on the republican ticket the way its always been done.
its funny how the guy raising the most money is the guy saying he is for the poor and the needy.yet the poor and the needy are the ones saying they cant pay their bills.so where is all that money coming from.Oh thats right the super rich and ubber wealthy you know the ones that dont pay their fair share of taxes, the ones that the republicans love and are in the pockets of. you know the ones that the left says they are against.just one more reason why you gotta love the left.

Not sure who y'all consider "electable"...."re-run" Romney, Bachman and pizza man are the only ones in double digits in any poll right now...shameful field so far IMHO. I love politics and I couldn't even keep my eyes open for the debate. I think Bachman faired well in the end and then today I find she has a post doctorate in federal tax law from William & Mary, impressive alongside her law degree.

Bachman is an IDIOT!! She says Obama tapped all of the strategic oil reserve. Not true. Only 30 million barrells were tapped. She also said John Wayne was from Waterloo, Ia. Not true he was born 150 miles away. John Wayne Gacy was living in Waterloo, Ia. I just get sick of hearing all this crap all the time. I'll be sending my vote to Ron Paul.
