U.S. diesel prices increase again
Average U.S. diesel prices rose this week, climbing 2.2 cents to $2.55 a gallon, according to the U.S. Department of Energy.
The average price of a gallon of diesel is $1.95 less than a year ago when prices jumped to close to $5 a gallon.
Prices rose in all regions tracked by DOE except for the Rocky Mountain area, where the price dipped less than a penny to $2.537. The least expensive region is the Gulf Coast at $2.513, and the most costly is California at $2.763.
