Phil Madsen named Editor of Expedite Now

Expediter and “EO Success Story” to Now Head the
Expedited Trucking Industry’s Premier Magazine!

FLORENCE, KY – May 12, 2008 – Phil Madsen has been named Editor of Expedite NOW, the leading bi-monthly buyer and career guide for the expedite trucking industry, Expediters Online General Manager Lawrence McCord announced today.

Madsen, who has spent five highly successful years in the expedite trucking industry, brings experience as a team driver as well as a unique financial planning perspective to his new role.

Before becoming an expediter, Madsen has worked 11 years as a securities broker and financial planner, and seven years as a software instructor and computer consultant.

Over the years, Madsen has contributed articles to Expedite Now as Senior Field Editor, including the popular “Business Planning for Successful Expediters” series and “Introduction to Expediting,” which is regularly used by recruiters and fleet owners to introduce new people to the expedite industry.

“We are delighted to have Phil as the new editor of Expedite N0W,” McCord said. “Expedite N0W Magazine is nationally distributed to top level truck stop chains and the magazine’s current circulation is 41,590 and growing. McCord explained that Madsen is taking on duties previously performed by outgoing Editor Jeff Jensen. Due to health setbacks, Jensen remains a key player at Expediters Online but is working at a pace that is more appropriate to his circumstances. Madsen said, "Jeff Jensen's writings have contributed significantly to the success Diane and I enjoy as expediters today. He is a good writer and good man. It will be no small challenge to serve readers as well as he."

Themselves an Expediters Online success story, Madsen and his wife Diane learned of the expediting business opportunity when they stumbled upon the EO booth at the 2003 Mid America Trucking Show.
