National fuel price average dips for fourth straight week
Fuel prices dropped another 2.7 cents per gallon to average $2.219 per gallon this past week.
According to the U.S. Energy Information Administration’s report on Monday, Feb. 9, this marks the fourth straight week fuel prices had dropped.
All nine regions are again reporting decreases in diesel averages this past week. The Gulf Coast region is reporting the lowest fuel average at $2.157 per gallon. The New England region is again reporting the highest fuel prices of all the regions at $2.576 per gallon.
