Medical Review Board meets July 1
The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration’s Medical Review Board’s July 1 meeting will include discussions on circadian rhythm disorders, musculoskeletal disorders and psychiatric disorders.
The MRB public meeting in Washington, D.C., is an opportunity to observe MRB deliberations about FMCSA’s medical standards and provide comments to the MRB.
Among other business, reports and public comment will be given on truck driving safety and the following:
Psychiatric disorders
Circadian rhythm disorders, parasomnias, sleep-related movement disorders, hypersomnias of central origin
Musculoskeletal disorders, spinal cord injury
Implantable cardioverter defibrillators and cardiac resynchronization therapy.
