The AlliancePro / AllianceVF software now integrates directly into the
Universal Traffic Service (UTS) system.

"Universal Traffic Service is pleased to be able to improve the productivity of both our carriers and our internal staff through the integration with GPSNet Technologies. By allowing key event and tracking information to be transmitted from GPSNet to the Universal Traffic Service system, we have reduced workload and redundancy - and enhanced the overall process.  Our System Rankings will be set up to give preferential “load tendering” treatment to any GPSNet AlliancePro subscriber who uses the automated interface between AlliancePro and Universal Traffic."

-- Steve Norman, Director of Carrier Resource Development,
Universal Traffic Service, Inc., Grand Rapids, MI.

To summarize what GPSNet Technologies has in terms of integrating with Universal Traffic Service, here are the features that our software, AlliancePro , supports:

Ability to set up the Universal Traffic Service (UTS) interface rules and credentials (ID, password, event update activation, position update activation). Ability to tag an order in AlliancePro as a UTS load. Ability to automatically send event updates (Arrive Shipper, Loaded, Arrive Consignee, Empty with POD, ETA, etc.) to the UTS system (through manual event updates, GPS Enabled Cell Phone, or Qualcomm satellite updates). Ability to manually resend an event update through the AlliancePro Event Notification screen (in case the auto update failed). Ability to send "Free Form" notes (at any time) for a UTS load. Ability to send "Free Form" notes along with manual event updates (in the "manual event" update screen). Ability to filter the search in Order Inquiry by UTS Loads. The "UTS Reference Number" is displayed below the pro number/ travel order number.
"Universal Traffic Service (UTS) is excited to expand this utilization of integration with GPSNet Technologies. We are process-driven, and technology focused.  These type of integrations improve productivity and reduce carrier cost.  More importantly, they allow us to be even more proactive in the identification of potential problems in a given shipment.  We are pleased that it can be offered to so many AlliancePro companies at such a reasonable cost.  It will certainly drive efficiencies and improve our customer service offering."

-- Mary Buck, Director of Operations,
Universal Traffic Service, Inc.

GPSNet Technologies continues to maintain its leadership position in integrating carriers with their customers.   GPSNet Technologies already integrates with National Logistics Management (NLMi), Active Aero PTM, and now with the Universal Traffic System.

If you are an authorized carrier for Universal Traffic System and your are an AlliancePro or AllianceVF subscriber and you want to gain access to this interface, please contact our office for pricing and scheduling set-up and training of this new module.

About GPSNet Technologies Inc.

GPSNet Technologies, Inc.'s vision was rather unique. Take a group of competing companies that share similar business issues and get them to make more money by selling each other’s products.  For the companies that have bought into this business philosophy, the rewards have been handsome. Subscribers to the GPSNet Technologies software have shared access to a much larger fleet ... thereby allowing them to say YES to their customers more often. Likewise, they share the availability of their own fleet with other subscribers so that their drivers keep moving with better paying loads.

The premier product of GPSNet Technologies is their AlliancePro Dispatch Software. It combines customer management, fleet management (including compliance testing), order entry (integrated with mileage and mapping), NLM integration, Active Aero PTM integration, Universal Traffic Service Integration, rating, billing, driver pay, direct deposit, document imaging, Qualcomm integration, GPS Cell Phone tracking and communication, customer track and trace, Fleet Vision (Driver Portal), Virtual Fleet, automatic ETA calculations, street level routing and directions, automatic customer e-mail notifications, integration with accounting tools like QuickBooks, Peachtree, Accpac, Great Plains or Platinum and much, much more.  For more information, visit their website at www.gpsnettech.com.
