GREEN, Ohio – FedEx Custom Critical, Inc., North America’s largest provider of expedited time-critical shipments, recently rolled out the red carpet for its 2007 Four Star Award winners. The award recognizes the top 50 independent contractors who exemplify the company’s dedication to superior customer service and safe driving. These contractors lease their vehicles to the company as owner operators.

This is the eighth year for the Four Star Award. Owner-operators who qualify for the distinction must meet the Four Star criteria for the fiscal year, which ran from June 1, 2006 to May 31, 2007. The criteria include accident-free driving, on-time service, availability and load acceptance.

All of the winners and their spouses or guests were invited in July to spend three nights at The Venetian Resort-Hotel-Casino in Las Vegas for a celebration in their honor.

“Our independent contractors work hard all year to make sure our customers’ needs are met,” said Virginia Albanese, president and CEO of FedEx Custom Critical. “And they do so while keeping safety as their top priority. The Four Star Awards are one way we can show our appreciation for their efforts.”

Veronique-=|=-That bridge looks so very low to the grunod, like you won't have the necessary clearance. I guess it's a railroad bridge so the truss has to have extra depth to carry the weight and span the road and canal, and that throws off the visual proportions.
