Express-1 Announces Prestigious Expedite Award from Johnson Controls

SAINT JOSEPH, Mich. --(Business Wire)-- -- Express-1, Inc. (Express-1), a wholly owned subsidiary of Express-1 Expedited Solutions, Inc. (AMEX:XPO) announced today that it was the recipient of the prestigious ‘Ground Expedite Provider Award’ for 2009. Johnson Controls (NYSE:JCI) is a global leader in automotive experience, building efficiency and power solutions. Johnson Controls reported revenue of $38 billion for the last fiscal year ended September 30, 2008, and net income of $979 million for the same period.

The award was based upon the level of customer services and on-time deliveries that Express-1 provided.
