Excitement building for Expedite Expo!
The 2012 Expedite Expo will move into the Roberts Convention Centre in Wilmington, Ohio on Friday and Saturday July 27-28 and organizers of the admission-free event say that there is something to appeal to all members of the family.
Kristy Lohre, Show Manager says, "This event is North America's largest show of its type and we've worked very hard to find exhibits and attractions that will be of interest to expediters and non-expediters alike. Of course, we have lots of shiny trucks, trucking company recruiters, vendors and suppliers and other trucking-specific displays but we also have exciting attractions as well, including our live bass fishing displays, Columbus Zoo animal exhibit, live music and entertainment."

Expedite Expo will also award a lucky attendee with cold cash! Expo visitors can vote for their favorite truck exhibited by a truck dealer in the CIS Drivers Choice Award. Their ballot is also their entry form and the lucky winner will pocket a tidy $1,000.00!
The expedited trucking industry is composed primarily of small business people who own and operate their own trucks. Since the event's inception in 2001, the Expedite Expo has featured a roster of trucking recruiters who share the opportunities available at their companies for owner-operators and drivers.
Workshops on the business of trucking are an important part of the Expedite Expo and the always-popular workshops feature two full days of the informative, free sessions. From buying a truck to performing maintenance, the Workshops offer trucking professionals who speak on a variety of topics.
The Expedite Expo features the nation's top truck dealers who exhibit the newest and most innovative truck equipment available in North America. Manufactures and dealers typically utilize the Expo to roll out their new models to an eager trucking audience.
"We've got music!" says Kristy Lohre. " We are proud to present a live concert on Friday evening, Crystal Shawanda off at 10:00 pm! Crystal comes to us from Canada; in 2009 she was named by Canadian Country Music Assoc. Female Artist of the Year, and has toured with Brad Paisley, Dierks Bently and Reba McEntire. Saturday local Indiana natives Pure Grain will perform at 11:00am in the Expo Hall. And, it's all family-friendly entertainment."
Lohre continues, "Dave Nemo, who is a legend in trucking radio, will be broadcasting on Sirius XM Radio live from the Expo with interviews and show reports."
She concludes, "Admission is free and we have acres of free parking. There's food, entertainment, trucks, prizes and giveaways, so bring the whole family!"
