Diesel up for fourth straight week to $2.352
Oil has been climbing to highs for the year lately, and diesel seems to be following suit, according to the Energy Information Administration.
The Weekly Retail On-Highway Diesel Price increased $0.078 a gallon this week landing at $2.352 per gallon, which was down $2.355 per gallon from one year ago.
California just topped $2.50 a gallon reaching $2.502 per gallon this week, an increase of $0.095 per gallon, and down $2.525 per gallon from last year.
Every region showed an increase this week. The most expensive diesel was in the West Coast region at $2.460 per gallon, which was up $0.076 a gallon from a week ago, and $2.418 a gallon less than this time last year.
The cheapest region for diesel was the Midwest at $2.322 per gallon, up $0.093 a gallon from last week, and down $2.321 from last year.
