LOUISVILLE, Ky. —Affiliated Computer Services Inc. celebrated the relocation of the company’s TripPak SERVICES facility to Louisville with a grand opening event March 18 held in conjunction with the Mid-America Trucking Show here.

“ACS had its choice of where to locate this facility,” Kentucky Gov. Steve Beshear, said. “They chose Louisville, proving once again that Kentucky is a great place to live, work and raise a family. We are grateful that another Fortune 500 company is expanding in the Commonwealth.”

ACS TripPak SERVICES provides business process improvement and IT solutions to the trucking industry.

Customers benefit from more accurate payroll and billing support tools, which immediately boost cash flow for fleets and drivers alike, according to Kelley Walkup, division vice president and general manager for ACS Expedited Solutions.

With submission methods including in-cab scanning, truck stop scanning and drop boxes located at more than 1,500 truck stops, fleet terminals and distribution centers in North America, TripPak provides low cost services for more than 700 trucking companies, Walkup said.

TripPak is located at Louisville’s primary package sort center and air flight hub that is operated by ACS partner UPS.

â€œThe new state-of-the-art facility in Louisville is a testament to our commitment to our clients and the high level of service we continue to provide the transportation industry,” Walkup said. “This new facility is the perfect example of how we are continuing to provide solutions for the transportation industry with TripPak EXPRESS, truck stop scanning through TripPak SCANNING, Capture ANYWARE and TripPak RapidLog auditing operations.”

The work of ACS touches millions of people’s lives every day, Walkup said.

She noted that each year, ACS processes approximately 10 million travel transactions for 12 major passenger airlines, helps 700 trucking companies make deliveries and processes two million documents every day for a worldwide shipping and logistics leader.
