picnic.jpgIt's the beginning of summer, time again for the usual warm weather activities.  In expediting, those include company picnics and driver appreciation events.

On Wednesday, July 9 and Thursday, July 10, Panther II Transportation will be staging it's Drivers Appreciation Days at the Seville, OH training and safety facility.  Hours will be 10am-3pm.

Jeff Brown of Panther II's Contractor Support and Development says that this year's event will feature the popular dunking booth, games, vendors, food and music, and the highlight of the festivities - the drawing for the new $20,000 Harley-Davidson.  The Drivers Appreciation Days are open to all Panther II owner/operators and drivers.

Expediters Online.com's editor, Jeff Jensen, will be covering the event for the web site, and will also hold a drawing for an XM Satellite Radio, courtesy of Expediters Online.com.

Jensen will then head to Express-1 country in southwestern Michigan to attend it's company picnic on Saturday, July 12.  The event will be held again at McCoy Creek Park in Buchanan, MI.  Last years event was a rousing success with lots of great food, games and DJ-provided music.  The picnic kicks off around noon.

Expediters Online.com will once again award an XM Satellite Radio to the lucky winner of our drawing, open to all Express-1 owner/operators and drivers.

We're looking forward to both events and the chance to say hello to all of the hard-working people of expediting!
