pantherii_001.jpgExpedited Carrier Panther II Transportation corporate headquarters has a new address - Panther Parkway, Seville, Ohio.

Designed and constructed by the Charles Marshall Construction firm and with an interior designed by Panther II president Dan Sokolowski and John Slider- Chief Financial Officer, the structure required a year of construction time.  It joins the "old" Safety building on Panther II's thirteen-acre "campus".

Panther II's administration now resides in a gleaming two-story building of 50,000 square feet.  Around 30,000 square feet are currently occupied by Panther II personnel.

This facility replaces the company's old administration headquarters in Medina, OH. The move was accomplished department by department over a period of time to minimize disruption of company services.  The move was completed by December 15.

President Dan Sokolowski projects company growth will eventually take over the remaining 20,000 square feet of unused space.  This will give the building a service life (for Panther II's needs) of 10-12 years.

The building's parking can support 160 cars.   And, additional acreage for expansion is available if and when it's required.

Among key features of the building are a Conference/Training room that will hold upwards of 45 people.  A full-service cafeteria will be coming soon.

Safety, Compliance, DOT physicals, Decal Installation and Qualcomm Installation will continue to reside in the "old" building as well as contractor orientation.

pantherii_4.jpgContractor Support and Development Manager Jeff Brown says that Panther II personnel are very happy with their new home:  "They love it!  The ambient volume in dispatch, for example, has dropped dramatically.  We've taken the same number of people and spread them over a larger area."

"The dispatch area in the old building was a loud place, but in the new building, based on the design and its size, the room noise level has really decreased. You can communicate with people on the phone in a much more efficient manner than in the past."

"It's a great place to work!"
