A. Blair Enterprises, Inc. - Where you are NOT just another number

You are not a number with A. Blair Enterprises. We know you by name, not your truck number. When you deliver into a city you will rarely ever find that there is anyone in that area ahead of you for the next load out. These are only two benefits of driving for our company. We have a small staff of dispatchers who work around the clock scouting any and all possible, profitable freight. You will not be working for us, we will be working with you; and we will show you the respect that you deserve.

In today’s economy we all have to work a little harder and a little smarter to make a profit. Because we know you personally, we feel a very real responsibility for your success, and our efforts will quickly become apparent to you. We do our best to offer you the best runs available and attempt to route you into areas that seem to offer the greatest number of options.

We have contracts with the major third party logistic companies dealing in expedited truck movements and maintain the highest standards and rating with each of these companies. Many of our loads are through direct contact with our customers and are never seen on the load boards.

Can we actually promise you that you will have a certain number of miles each week, or keep you busier than you have been in the past? The straightforward answer is “no”, we cannot. What we can promise you is that our small office staff is working on all cylinders for you, that we know you by name, that we know how long you have been in every location, and that we are constantly and consistently working for your success.

We are now seeking owner operators, single or team and would like the opportunity to show you how we differ from our competitors. If becoming a person again, instead of a number, and having a caring and supportive staff working in your best interests appeals to you, please contact us at your earliest convenience.

We accept only the best on our team so you must have a clean MVR with a minimum of 2 years of verifiable expedited experience.

John/Cindy Bean-=|=-My wife and I have been driving going on six years in the expedite business. We drove for the well known (cat logo) for five years. Even though we hardley ever turned down loads or out of service our miles were declining. To drive for another company was a very hard decision to make. We wanted to stay but the miles had just disappeared,oh I forgot to mention we also are hasmat, goverment approve. We now drive for another company. We need a company we can stay with that can at least try to give us 3,000miles a week.We know no promises but at least try. Maybe get home once every 3mos.Texas.We are very hard workers. Just tired of the run around. We have a 2008 Sterling straight truck class 8, dock high,22'bx. We feel we could be a great asset to your company. If interested please Email us, tks.

ak-j-=|=-I recently quit A.Blair on 4/23/13 after 78 days of employment, 43 days was waiting for loads. I've spent 4 days sitting in San Diego, got a load picking up in Vista,CA drove it overnight to Ogden,UT and sat for another 6 days, these people cannot keep you going, if you get their van and it has a temp tag on it, they will still have you run when it expires, I was stopped twice for it and twice the van could have been impounded for the violation, got a citation for it southern Illinois, they have a smartass dispatcher that started about 2 months ago named Colby that just loves to talk you down. So if you love to sit at truckstops for days on end then YES !! this is the perfect company for you

Wandering Jew-=|=-I sat through tornadic weather for 5 days in Carlise Indiana, I sat in San Antonio for 12 days straight. I see other Sprinter companies coming and going with plenty of shipments to keep them rolling. A. Blair Enterprises must be inept because they cannot keep you busy. I'm going to try to make it thru to the summer and give them one year then I plan on quitting. I'm not making any profit doing a $900.00 run, half of that goes toward fuel, another $189.00 goes toward escrot, lease, and trippak, by the time you get paid your remaining 50% you only have $260.00 left! Then they make you sit for an entire week not going anywhere, not making any money. I don't know about you but I live in the real world and I have bills to pay and I'm barely squeezing by.
