working for an o/o

Do fleet o/o hire straight truck teams with out any experience? and is 60/40 split the going rate? who gets 60 and who gets 40?

also can anybody help me out with some tax questions?
1.Is there a company that specializes in doing taxes for truck drivers?

2. Should we pay our taxes quarterly or yearly?

60/40 is pretty standard..There are some variances close to it like 65/35 I saw one 67/33 the larger amount goes to whoever is paying fuel.. driver or owner.
There are some companies that specialize in trucker tax returns..You can find them in classifieds in the trucker magazine on the free racks at trucks stops.
I think if you are working under a contract to drive you have to file quarterly, but dont take tha as gospel as Im not positive..just think I saw that somewhere.
