Why expedite if you have a CDL?

I started expedited in Oct. I have CDL-A and drove for Big Carrier for 12 months.
“Patiently waiting” is more a matter of Savings to weather the downtime.
I have not driven a load since before Xmas. If I required a weekly check (semi-retired), I would be very impatient. Used home time to insulate and install MaxxFan vent and enjoy family..
But waiting as A TT happens too. But never more than a day. Once I deadheaded my TT 700 miles CRAZY RIGHT? But after my first load as expeditor (Laredo to Canada) I chose to drive 400 mi to get closer to a good market. TG 20/mpg unleaded gas.
I like expedite much better, so I am hopefull this lull will end soon.

Happens every year. Fingers crossed it doesn't last till April
