CSR/ CVOR Guideline: Commercial Vehicle Operator's Registration

If you are under 4500 kg (10,000 lbs) you may not need to do anything.

If you are you need to register in one province only and I'm assuming most of your Canadian running is in Ontario. You need get a CVOR. You will also need proof your liability insurance is valid in Ontario. The folks at the MTO (DOT) are notoriously un-friendly and not likely to give you all the info you need. Your better bet would be to contact a transportation consultant in Ontario and they can fill you in on what you have to do exactly for your situation.
