I was working on a bid for a construction project in my office in Florida. I had a TV on but not watching it. When my Wife came in and asked would was going on in NYC.
We started to watch the TV and making calls to friends and family.
I had left the Fire Service in upstate NY a few years before this and knew a lot of members in the NYC area.
We had construction works and rescue works from the Florida area that moved from the North East, getting in cars and trucks to head up to help, everyone knew it was bad.
BUT as anyone can tell you, you have to be strong to live in the NE and not just the body.
