What to do in Elkton, MD?

We typically head for the Petro in Elkton, MD if dropping anwhere around East PA, North MD, or Balto. It puts us smack dab in Balto/Phil/NJ striking distance.

While there venture thru town to US 40 EB, and travel past MD 7. There will be a strip-mall on the left, a Bob Evans; and a VERY GOOD Mexican restaurant. Plenty of parking, easy in-out.

Very authentic, Fridays has strolling (very little english speaking) troubadors in the packed house. Inexpensive, family run.;-)

Elkton is a neat small town. I used to live about 30 minutes from there in Edgewood, MD. I know the restaurant you mentioned. Ate there once. Really decent food as I recall.

So, did I pass you on RT 100 this moring?

Sounds like you found a nice area to hang. I lived in Rising Sun Md. for a few years and if you get a chance go over to Newark De. and hang out in the historic downtown area. Neat little shops and a college town to boot! Have fun and enjoy whatever city you land in!
