I was going through our HotShot e-Newsletter archives and found this from our November 1999 issue:
What Not to Say at the Shipper/Receiver (Expediter Humor)
1. (To your co-driver as the forklift is crossing the dock plate)
"You dropped the landing legs, right?"
2. (To receiving person)
"Fifteen minutes for a door?! Hey buddy, this is expedited freight!"
3. (At a car plant)
"Break time? Man, you union guys are always on break!"
4. (To forklift driver)
"Hey bud! This is a brand new truck! Put a scratch on it, and I'll have your job!"
5. (To anyone in general, to be used only when making that first
impression)
"Hey, I've been here ten minutes already, let's get busy and get me loaded/unloaded! I ain't gettin paid by the hour!"
